Walking Distance opens
‘Walking Distance - Feminine Perspectives of Landscape’ opened on Friday at Field Trip Gallery in Paddington, Brisbane. The show brings together 8 artists whose work relies on the landscape and sense of place. Brought to life by Shannon Garson, Australian ceramacist living in Maleny, the work in this show represents a diverse range of techniques and mediums including painting in oil, watercolour and gouache, textile, wood carving, jewellery and metalwork porcelain and of course, printmaking. It was a thrill to be able to travel to Brisbane for the opening and see the show in person.
The exhibition continues until 26th January. Check Fieldtrip Gallery’s instagram account for opening hours, or contact the gallery for more information.
