‘Grounded, Spring Thaw Diptych’ is part of a series of alpine landscapes zooming in on the details that we often miss beneath our feet. On the whole, our visits to mountain tops are about the view we see when we get there. In Spring Thaw, I focus in on the details of the October snow nestled around the native vegetation, with the rocks catching some warm spring sun, reminding us that our mountain-top experiences can give us more than just a view.

This hand painted linocut measures approximately 63cm (25") wide by 40cm (18") high, not including signature. The paper size is approx 55 x 75cm. Each print is numbered and signed, with this being a small edition of 6. I print using oil-based printing ink on Stonehenge printmakers paper. Each linocut is then individually hand painted with watercolour, making each print a unique original.

This unframed linocut will be shipped securely in a mailing cylinder.
